About the journal

A modern academic press for financial scholarship.

The Journal of Financial Innovation & Economic Analytics (JOFIAEA) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing original research across the breadth of financial economics and applied quantitative methods. We exist to advance careful scholarship — empirical, theoretical, and methodological — and to make it freely available to readers worldwide.

Mission

Finance research is increasingly interdisciplinary, data-rich, and policy-relevant. JOFIAEA publishes work that respects this complexity: studies that build on prior literature rigorously, document methodology transparently, and engage seriously with alternative interpretations.

Editorial standards

  • Double-blind peer review. Author and reviewer identities are mutually concealed throughout the evaluation process to safeguard impartiality.
  • Editorial integrity. Manuscripts are assessed solely on originality, methodological soundness, analytical rigor, and contribution to financial innovation and economic analysis.
  • Ethical compliance. The journal adheres to COPE guidelines on authorship, conflicts of interest, plagiarism, data fabrication, and post-publication corrections.
  • Open access track. Articles published under the open-access option are released under a Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license, permitting reuse with proper attribution.
  • Reproducibility and data availability. Authors are expected to provide code, datasets, and supplementary materials sufficient to reproduce the reported results, subject to legitimate confidentiality or proprietary restrictions.
  • Declaration of interests. All authors must disclose funding sources, institutional affiliations, and any financial or personal relationships that could be perceived as influencing the work.
